How to use Wondershare SafeEraser for Mac?
Wondershare SafeEraser for Mac lets you delete all data or cache of once deleted files from your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch permanently. After deletion, even Wondershare Dr.Fone for iOS can't recover any data from your iOS device.
Platforms: Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.7, or 10.6
Download, install and run Wondershare SafeEraser for Mac on your iMac, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. Use a USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your Mac. You can see the program will detect your device automatically.
Step 1. Click “Express Cleanup” in the left sidebar. From the window on the right, you will see how many days have passed since the last time you cleaned your device and how much space was reclaimed.
Step 2. Click the “Start” button at the bottom right to scan your device for junk files. After the scan is completed, the total amount of junk files is displayed and the amount for each type of junk file is displayed too.
You can click the number to check out the details for each type of the junk files respectively.
Step 3. Check unwanted junk file types and click “Erase now” to clean junk files from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. After then, in a new pop-up window, the cleanup result will be displayed.
ERASE PRIVATE DATA
Step 1. Click “Erase Private Data” in the left sidebar. In the window on the right, you can see what kind of files can be erased.
Step 2. Click “Start” button to analyze and scan the private data on your iDevice.
Step 3. When the scan is completed, all the private data is listed. You can check them to view details.
Step 4. Check the unwanted data and click “Erase Now”. In the prompt, type the word “Delete” to confirm the deletion.
ERASE DELETED FILES
Step 1. Click “Erase Deleted Files” in the left sidebar.
Step 2. Click “Start” button to scan for deleted files.
When the scan is finished, you can see the deleted files are sorted into category. Check the corresponding file type to see the details..
Step 3. Check the files you want to remove permanently from your device and click “Erase Now”. In the prompt, type the word “delete” to confirm the deletion.
Note: During the process, the deleted files which you’ve backed up to your iTunes will also be erased, ensuring the data is unrecoverable via iTunes in the future.
ERASE ALL DATA
Step 1. Click “Erase All Data” in the left column. Type “Delete” in the box to confirm the deletion and click “Start”.
Step 2. In the window you’ll see the deletion begins. All data on your iDevice will be removed.
Step 3. Once the deletion is completed, the window of the program will looks like the screenshot below.
